Etching can be done on most glass surfaces. Due to the process that I use, I require that all pieces be relatively flat. If you have a piece in your possession you would like to use, that is fine as well. However, older pieces do not have a guarantee that the etching will work. Surfaces must be clean of all residues and with limited use.
